It really depends on what you’re looking for, as each season offers a different atmosphere for your couple session in New York.

Personally, I love autumn in NYC. The colors in Central Park are beautiful, the light is soft and the city feels a bit calmer, which makes it perfect for a romantic and intimate proposal photoshoot.

Spring is also a stunning season, with blooming trees and vibrant parks like Central Park. However, it can be busier, so it’s something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a more private moment.

Summer in New York City can be quite hot and humid, especially in the middle of the day. That said, early mornings and sunset are amazing, with beautiful light and a great atmosphere. If you’re dreaming of a golden hour proposal, I’ll help you plan the perfect timing depending on the season.

Winter has its own kind of magic. Even though it’s colder and days are shorter, there are fewer crowds, which means more privacy. Snowy days or cozy winter light can create a very special and unique proposal in NYC.

No matter the season, I’ll help you choose the best timing for your engagement session in New York City based on light, crowds and the feeling you want to create.

Of course. Beyond photography, I help you plan your entire surprise proposal or couple session in NYC. From choosing the right location and time of day to guiding you on where to stand and how to approach the moment, I make sure everything feels effortless. My goal is for you to enjoy the experience without stress, knowing every detail has been carefully thought out.

Yes, of course. You can change outfits as many times as you’d like.

Just keep in mind the total time of your session and whether we’ll have access to a nearby bathroom or a convenient place to change. I’ll help you plan this in advance so everything flows naturally without taking time away from the photos.

New York City has some of the most iconic and romantic spots for a couple photoshoot. Central Park is perfect if you’re looking for something natural and a bit more intimate, while DUMBO in Brooklyn gives you those amazing skyline views. Rooftops like Top of the Rock feel more cinematic and special. I know NYC really well and I’ll help you choose the location that fits your idea best, taking into account light, privacy and the overall vibe you’re going for.

The number of locations depends on the package you choose. If you’re going for a shorter session, like 30 minutes, my recommendation is to focus on one spot such as DUMBO or Central Park so everything feels relaxed and not rushed. If you prefer a longer session, we can combine two areas that are a bit further apart, like Central Park with a rooftop or the Upper West Side, so you get more variety in your photos.

If you’d like more ideas, you can also check my full guide to the best engagement locations in NYC.

If it happens to rain on the day of your engagement photoshoot, we can easily reschedule to another day. I always recommend this option if you prefer to keep the original plan and enjoy the experience without worrying about the weather.

Of course, we can also adapt if needed, but my priority is to help you have the best possible experience in the conditions you really want.

That being said, some of the most magical photoshoots I’ve captured in Madrid have been in the rain. It creates a unique, romantic and cinematic atmosphere, with soft light and almost no crowds.

We can use a transparent umbrella that I’ll bring for you, walk, laugh, kiss or even dance in the rain… just like in a movie. The result feels incredibly natural and special.

In fact, one of my all time favorite proposal photoshoots took place entirely under the rain, and it turned out absolutely beautiful.

It’s completely normal to feel a little unsure before your couple or engagement photoshoot in New York City. Most couples tell me they’re not used to being in front of the camera and worry about how they’ll look.

That feeling usually disappears within the first few minutes. Once we start walking, talking and taking a few photos, everything begins to feel much more relaxed and natural.

You don’t need to know how to pose or prepare anything special. I’ll guide you in a very simple and natural way when needed, but most of the time you’ll just be enjoying the moment together while I capture it as it happens.

The goal is for your photos to feel real, effortless and truly like you.
